Lt. Col. Michael Akiona, the thirteenth Air Expeditionary Group commander and KC-135 detachment commander, cited that the gifts given to the school are tokens of friendship between Thailand and the United States.

"We look ahead to Cope Tiger to renew our friendship," he stated.
